Decisions on field conditions and playability, prior to
kickoff, are made by the Mike Rose Soccer Complex. Once games kick off, the
decision on field/playing conditions lies with the referee.
During the week (Monday through Friday), field
conditions will be updated on the front page of the Mike Rose Soccer Complex
website: www.gomrsc.com.
The decision on field playability is posted at 2:30 pm
each weekday (unless inclement weather is pending or in the area, in which
case the official decision may be delayed until 5:00 pm).
On weekends (Saturday & Sunday), field conditions are
updated on the Mike Rose Soccer Complex hotline (call 751-4223 - option 9).
The decision on field playability is recorded on the hotline by 10:00 am
(for all 1:30/3:30 games), or by 1:00 pm (for all 5:30/7:30 games).
(If the hotline is not updated from previous days, assume games are on
unless coaches are notified directly to the contrary.)
Game status: Games are official if they reach half-time.
If weather conditions (or other stoppages, such as light failure, etc.)
force a stoppage of a match at halftime or beyond, and that match cannot be
resumed, then the score at the time of the stoppage shall be declared the
final score. Any game that does not reach half-time due to a weather-related
stoppage, and cannot resume, will be rescheduled. Referees should return
money to teams.
Text-Messaging Service: MRSC is
now offering a texting service to keep everyone up-to-date on field
conditions. Text the word "Fields" to 8505628398 to subscribe.
